Seville is a true Diamond. The city isn´t just breathtaking, it is also warm, welcoming and tasty.
Since reading Robert Wilsons crime novels with Javier Falcón in Seville, I have wanted to visit this town. He writes so well that I could almost smell the tapas and feel the hot temperature from the sun while reading. And Seville didn´t disappoint me. It is the perfect sized town and has just the right amount of beauty. We stayed in the EME Cathedral Hotel in the old part of town, next to the cathedral, and walking around through the narrow streets, looking up at the beautiful buildings is my favorite things to do in cities like this.
We did a trip with one of the many horse- and carriages to see as much as possible in the short time we had in Seville. The kids loved it, and the grown ups enjoyed it as well. The most beautiful buildings in Seville are the Cathedral and the Plaza de Espana. Spend as much time as you can in the Santa Cruz Barrio and visit Alcazar if you have time. There are plenty of good restaurants to choose from in Seville, but a good tip is to eat where the locals do, so look for the tapas bar with the biggest crowds outside.
