This place is great for lunch, both due to its location and awesome tapas.
As in most Spanish cities, there are hundreds of tapas restaurants, or Pintxos, as they are also called. It may be challenging knowing which one of them to pay a visit, but a great advice is to look for where the locals eat. It isn´t always possible to trust Trip Advisor or other websites, but a crowded room and lines outside are always trustworthy.
La Sacristia serve high quality Bellota, but the most memorable dish we had was the garlic shrimps. We had to order extras… The bread, calamari, tortillas and potatoes with aioli were also yummy. Ok wine list, but great beer on tap.
Situated in the Santa Cruz area, La Sacristia is the perfect lunch place both because of its location and the great food.
