This was a good bottle! It smells a bit of tobacco, but it still has plenty minerals and fruit in it. It tastes like the classical Gaja bottles used to do – before “proposing” to the US market. It was very balanced and the taste stayed for a long time in the mouth. If you can get your hands on a Gaja bottle this old, grab it!
Gaja is one of the most famous Barbaresco producers in the world. I got to visit the estate in 2013
