Fresh Hotel in Athens is a design hotel with good location, cool rooms, outdoor pool and a rooftop restaurant and bar with a fantastic view.

Athens is perhaps not a destination on it´s own. Of course, Acropolis and other archeological sites are definitely worth a visit, as is the beautiful old-town Plaka, but for most of us, Athens is an entry- and exit point for the islands. Whether you decide to stay here for just a night or two, the hotel is still important.

Athens is a warm city, so a pool is a must for both grown-ups and the kids, and I very much prefer to dine outside, so a rooftop restaurant is preferable. Fresh Hotel in Athens has both. In addition to a magical view to the Acropolis, which is lighted up at night. It is cool too see parts of ancient times while sipping on a drink or two.

The room we stayed in had a good size with a pull-out sofa for the kids. It was clean, had designer elements and fresh colors (hence the name). I also love that they have Korres products as their bathroom supplies.

The breakfast was good. Freshly squeezed orange juice, ok coffee and a nice selection of fruits, eggs and pastries. The service was also great.

My favorite part about the hotel was still the rooftop. The pool is small, but sufficient. The food in the restaurant is good, especially the truffle fried potatoes, and the drinks were large and tasty.

In conclusion; Fresh Hotel Athens is the perfect place to stay when in Athens.
