Innovative, good looking and tasty food in comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

Atelier Restaurant is located at the wonderful Hotel Pigalle in the center of Gothenburg. The loft is stylishly decorated in an old-school Paris theme. With large and comfortable sofas and smaller tables placed between the big fireplace and the open-fired kitchen. The atmosphere is amazing, and it is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a gathering of friends. 

The food is a combination of French style cooking and Scandinavian produces with an innovative and beautiful taste. They change the menu according to season and match the dishes with a decent wine menu. For one of the dishes we were served traditional mead, which was a fun and different spin. I liked it. They also have a small collection of Grappa in the restaurant, and I finally found one that I liked, produced by the famous Tuscan vineyard, Sassicaia.

 Atelier Restaurant surprised me. I liked the size of the dishes, the taste and the combination, and this is definitely a place to go when you are looking for good food, excellent service and a warm and lovely atmosphere. Try It!
