Amsterdam is the perfect place to stroll around in the beautiful streets, eat well and just chill!
Old town Amsterdam is beautiful. The canals and the exceptional buildings surrounding them create a unique look and atmosphere. And the distinctive smell of the city is indisputable a part of the whole experience.
There are several designer hotels in Amsterdam. My stay at The Dylan Hotel was unforgettable. But I also recommend looking up a houseboat to stay at for the best experience of this beautiful city.
Somehow most of the chow in this town taste quite good, but my best food experiences are from A Fusion and Bistro Brocante. Both low key and awesome bites. But my favorite thing to do, when it comes to dining in lovely Amsterdam, is to hang out at one (or several) of the many bars and enjoy as many different types of beer as you can handle, together with the snacks or treats offered at the various places. A serious must do, is breakfast (or brunch) at G´s. Either in their lovely café or on their river cruise. Their Eggs Benedict are to die for, and their Bloody Mary will give you a kick start for the day. In good spirit of the city!
