If you are visiting Piedmont and want to stay at an amazing design hotel right in the middle of all the excellent food and wine, Arborina Relais is the right place for you.

Arborina Relais is a brand new Designer Hotel in La Morra, Piedmont, which is right in the heart of Barolo-land. The hotel is small but very chick with various designer lamps depending on what room you end up in. The smallest suites on the second floor has the sweetest view, and is highly recommended. It even has a small kitchenette. But if you bring your kids, the ground floor or the ones with gardens on the back is probably better for you.

Arborian Relais hotel has a boutique feeling with its no more than 10 rooms, and the dark stone tiles and wooden elements are just to my liking. The same design goes through the whole hotel, including the downstairs breakfast- and tasting room, the spa and the reception area. But my favorite location is still in one of the very comfortable sunbeds positioned by the small pool, right in the middle of the Arborina vineyard.

There is a very chick restaurant at the hotel that serves modern style, local food. There is also an Enoteca where you can both try and buy wine. And the selection here is quite impressive for such a small sized hotel. I especially love the amount of various bottles of bubbles that they offer. I recommend a bottle of vintage Valentino Brut at your balcony while nibbling on the amazing hazelnuts and olives. That is an excellent company to the stunning view.

The location of the hotel could not be any better. Not only are you surrounded by vineyards and have the most breathtaking view, but there are so many excellent restaurants for you to eat at while you stay at Arborian Relais. 

Also, visit some of the nearby wine producers for a taste at their current and previous vintages. These farmers are so proud of their production and dedicated to their work that their enthusiasm will rub off. And that is just another way the magic of this area will affect you.
